Thomas Trueman Heyl

Thomas Trueman Heyl, 64, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 1st, 2019 at his home in Portland, OR after a brief battle with cancer.

He is survived by his children Christina, Ryan and Tyler, his father Frank, and his sister Trudy. He was preceded in death by his mother Alice and his sister Teresa.

Thomas served for 9 years in the United States Army, and worked at the US Postal Service for the remainder of his career. He was a dedicated member of the 12 Step recovery community and in his retirement, loved driving sports cars and spending time with his children.

Funeral services will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
