Lisa Gilbert Compton

Lisa Gilbert Compton died Nov. 6, 2011. She was 57.

Mrs. Compton was born March 21, 1954, in Portland to William and Barbara Treece Gilbert. The family moved to Lake Oswego in 1964, and she attended Lakewood Elementary, Lake Oswego Junior High, Lake Oswego High and graduated from Lakeridge High School the year it opened.

She studied at University of Oregon for a year and then moved to Bend before settling back in Lake Oswego. Mrs. Compton worked for the Veteran’s Administration.

She married Russell Compton in 1993. He preceded her in death. Her longtime companion, Rick Ross, also preceded her in death. Survivors include her sister, Gail Rigby, Stafford; niece, Jessica Ayers, Lake Oswego; and nephew, Brett Rigby, Portland.
